A report from the local authority in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate stated that Hurricane (Tej) did not register any human losses, but it left material damage to the infrastructure, public and private property, and the homes of citizens.
The report stated: “The hurricane caused damage to about 50 percent of the roads, especially in the eastern regions, and it was also impossible to reach the area of Ras Arsal east of Sokotra, as a result of the road being cut off in the Ar. Area Ahar. “
