Under the patronage of the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, and under the supervision of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Coast, and with funding from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the Al-Amouh Association. for the Care and Rehabilitation of the Physically Handicapped held, in the Professor Hood Hall in Baabad in Mukalla, a ceremony on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its foundation, and organized an exhibition for productive families. In the presence of the deputy secretary of Hadhramout. Governorate, Mr. Hassan Salem Al-Jilani, the representative of the Emirates Red Crescent in Hadhramout, His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, and the Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the Hadhramout Coast, Mr. Ahmed Salem Badros.

An authority that placed Hadramaut Governorate among the priorities of its projects, especially those targeting people of determination.
The Councilor for Development and International Cooperation, representative of the Emirates Red Crescent in Hadramaut, His Excellency Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, praised the pioneering experience of the Al-Ambuh Association to advance and care for the disabled, expressing his happiness to participate in this one. ceremony and the honorable paragraphs and models he witnessed who challenged disability, were distinguished by ambition and determination, and overcame challenges. He said that the Authority strives to provide its social contribution with great care to ensure its diversity and achieve the greatest possible segment of society, especially the segments most in need of help, with the aim of bringing about positive change.

The ceremony included various artistic performances presented by a group of children and young people, in which they imitated the heritage of Hadramaut through artistic paintings and a dance carnival, in addition to a report telling the story of the success of the association, and showing some successes. stories recorded by disabled people after their rehabilitation and graduation from the association, including the story of the young woman Amani, who overcame her disability. Thanks to the support of her family and the Ambition Association, today she continues her studies in English. Language Department of the Faculty of Arts of Hadhramaut University and volunteered by allocating one day a week to teach ambitious female students. From the saying “turn disability into energy”, the young woman Fatima was able to overcome her mobility disability to be one of the volunteers in community work in addition to her studies. In the College of Medicine at Hadhramout University, the ceremony included honoring the local authority in Hadhramout, the Office of the Ministry of Affairs, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, and honoring those who contributed to the success of the ceremony, and the staff of the association for their efforts in serving the disabled.
Regarding handicrafts, during the ceremony an exhibition was organized for productive families, which contained 30 corners, to display the products of productive families in the city of Mukalla. The corners varied between accessories corner, folk heritage corner, food corner and sweets. , a corner for hand embroidery, another corner for wickerwork, a corner for sewing and a corner for making leather bags. A corner for incense and perfumes.
