In the inauguration, the Governor of Socotra, engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali, confirmed that the camp helps alleviate the suffering of sick children and patients of the urinary tract in the county.
Al-Thaqali appreciated the support given by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in implementing the various medical camps, which have a tangible effect in treating many cases and performing various operations.
During its period from November 11 to 18, the camp is expected to conduct 100 surgical operations besides examining urinary tract cases in preparation for setting up a medical camp next December.
The inauguration of the camp was attended by the Deputy Secretary of the Governor, brigadier general Saleh Ali, the deputy director of the Medical Support Center of the Joint Forces, his excellency brigadier general Ali Al-Gharawi, the commander of the 808th Support and Assistance Force, Munif.
