French Kylian Mbappé, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, began to respond to the decision of Real Madrid to freeze negotiations to sign him next summer.
Reports stated that Real Madrid’s management backed out of the Mbappe deal last week, fearing a crisis in the Royal Club’s dressing room.
According to French network Canal Plus, Mbappe has agreed to hold a meeting with Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the president of Paris, to discuss renewing his contract with the club, which expires next summer.
She indicated that this meeting was planned for this week, but was postponed due to the illness of Nasser Al-Khelaifi and his recent surgery.
The relationship between Mbappe and Al-Khelaifi was strained last summer, due to the Frenchman’s exclusion from Saint-Germain’s preparatory camp, but things improved after Kylian gave up the loyalty rewards for the current season.
