The Deputy Secretary of the Hajj and Umrah Sector discusses with the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Interior the facilities for obtaining passports for pilgrims and Umrah performers.

The deputy secretary of the Ministry of Funds and Guidance for the Hajj and Umrah Sector, Dr. Mukhtar bin Al-Khader Al-Rabash Al-Haythami, discussed today, Monday, at the headquarters of the Hajj and Umrah Sector in the temporary capital, Aden , with the Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Interior for Immigration and Passport Affairs, Major General Abdul-Jabbar Salem, aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the Ministries of Foundations and Interior.

In the meeting attended by the Assistant Undersecretary for Organization and Accounts Affairs, Mounir Dabwan, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Service Affairs, Arif Al-Barakani, the Undersecretary for the Hajj and Umrah Sector discussed the facilities for issuing passports for pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims and the need to consider God’s guests to facilitate their transactions and complete them easily and smoothly.

The two sides emphasized that the validity of passports for those wishing to perform Umrah must be no less than six months, and a full year when registration is announced for those wishing to perform Hajj.

The two sides emphasized the need to provide a sufficient number of passports in the branches of the department to accommodate those who wish to perform the rituals of Hajj and Umrah, in addition to allocating specific counters at the ports to facilitate the processing of visas for pilgrims and Umrah performers .
