The meeting discussed the assessment of the damage resulting from the hurricane, and urgent interventions through the Emergency Unit of the Ministry of Water and support organizations through the Urban Cities Project due to their importance in recovering the disaster situation, especially the district of Haswain, which ; was most affected, in addition to coordinating collaborative efforts between the local authority, the Ministry and the supporting agencies, in a way that contributes to overcoming the disaster and developing resources.Solutions and providing the necessary support to achieve recovery and stability of water services.

For his part, the head of the Public Corporation for Water and Sanitation, engineer Ali Askar, praised the efforts of the local authority and its quick response to restore water services and bear the burdens to alleviate the suffering of citizens, noting that the committee went to all districts of Haswain, Al-Ghaydah, Hawf, Qishn, and Sayhut, and visited the affected water fields and projects, and made an inventory. Damage, along with an estimated cost and submitting it to the Minister of Water along with the required needs. He pointed out , that the water facilities, especially in Haswain, are completely destroyed, and efforts are being made to rehabilitate them. Two wells have been restarted, and the Fisha Water Project has been launched as an alternative to the destroyed previous field. .
