Today Friday, 17/11/2023, researcher Basil Muhammad Hardan received a doctorate in pure mathematics from the Indian University of Pamu in the city of Chhatrapati Simbhaji Nagar, formerly Aurangabad, India, for his thesis entitled: (Study of some Fixed Point Theorems With Application). The discussion committee consists of:
1- Professor Kirtiwant P. Ghadle, Head of the Department of Mathematics at Pamu University, presided over the discussion.
2- Professor Patil Jayashre V. Patil of Pamo University as scientific supervisor of the thesis.
3- Professor Shamuga Sundaram of Sri Saraswathi College in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, was an external discussant of the thesis.
After an extensive discussion of the thesis and the sure answers of the researcher to all the inquiries presented by the committee, the committee approved to award the doctorate in pure mathematics to the researcher recommending the research and its importance due to the addition it contains in this field . . Dr. Basil is a professor in the Department of Mathematics, College of Education, Zanzibar, University of Abyan. He is one of the distinguished researchers who has a great reputation in research and raised the name of Abyan University in the most prestigious international journals under very advanced indicators.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Basil published more than thirty research papers in his field of specialization during his scientific trip to India to study for his doctorate, and many of his research papers were published in highly rated journals such as Scopus, Web of Science, and others prestigious international journals. He also ranked first in his class in the bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Aden, and he holds a certificate of academic excellence in the bachelor’s degree. Dr. Basil enjoys the respect of his colleagues at home and abroad because of his high morals, social relations and good standing with all.
He has been a great help and support to all his fellow southern students in India. He is the head of the Southern Students Coordinating Council in the former Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Aurangabad, and he has a role in restoring student activity for southern students and many roles uncountable .
While we congratulate him for this great scientific achievement, we also congratulate our southern country with those supporting frameworks in various fields. We also take this as an opportunity to congratulate Abyan University, represented by its president, Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Al-Maysari , for this quality addition, which we hope will receive the attention of the presidency of the university.
