A Spanish press report said on Saturday that Turkish Real Madrid player Arda Guler caused an earthquake inside the Santiago Bernabeu.
Guler joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce, Turkey, for €20m last summer, but has been plagued by injuries since wearing the Merengue shirt.
Guler has not yet participated with Real Madrid, either friendly or officially, due to injury.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, this situation caused an earthquake within Real Madrid, and its victim was Niko Mihic, the team doctor who was relieved of his duties.
She added: “Güler’s current situation puts Real Madrid in front of the possibility of loaning him to his former club for another season, and monitoring his development.”
She continued: “The first impression that Guler left was positive, but his physique is childish.”
Guler was ready for his body to adapt, respond to the demands of the season and grow little by little, as happened with the Brazilian Rodrygo, who arrived with a much lower physical fitness than the current situation.
The newspaper explained that Guler, before moving to Real Madrid, was in talks with several clubs such as Milan, Benfica, Ajax, Seville and Barcelona.
