The latest tests confirmed that the Red Magic 9 Pro phone supports 2160Hz PWM dimming with BOE Q9 Plus display panels.
An official event will be held on November 23 to announce the Red Magic 9 Pro gaming phone, and a teaser published on the Weibo platform has confirmed some new details about the display specifications in this version.
The previous version of gaming phones came with a BOE Q9 display, while the Magic 9 Pro comes with a display upgrade to BOE Q9 Plus panels that come with visual improvements.
The visual improvements in the BOE Q9 Plus display panels include some improvements in the treatment of color aberration, as well as improvements in dimming, brightness and also the overall quality of the display.
The display also has support for color reproduction of up to 1.07 billion colors to support immersive colors at the highest resolution, with a brightness of 1600 nits, and dimming of up to 2160 Hz. The display also supports HDR10+ technology.
It is noteworthy that previous tests have confirmed that the Red Magic 9 Pro comes with a processor chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with a new generation of chipsets dedicated to gaming.
